The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines
- Load, run, and monitor CNC programs using Fanuc controls
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use basic inspection tools to verify parts during production
- Perform in-process checks to maintain quality standards
- Assist with setups including tooling, offsets, and workholding (if experienced)
- Troubleshoot minor machining issues and make adjustments as needed
- Work closely with quality and production teams to meet specifications

You’ll work with equipment such as:
- Machines: OKK Vertical Machining Centers (VM5, VM7, MCV860), Makino A82 Horizontal Machining Center, OKK Horizontal Machining Centers
- Controls: Fanuc
- CAM Software: Mastercam (support environment)
- Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM support
Materials You’ll Work With
- Aluminum
- Steel (mild and alloy)
- Titanium
- Machinable plastics
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 1+ years of CNC machining experience (milling preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Experience using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Preferred (Not Required):
- CNC setup experience
- 4-axis or 5-axis machining experience
- Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
