Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Counselor, located in Kasaragod. The Counselor will engage with clients to provide support, guidance, and strategies to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, creating personalized treatment plans, maintaining detailed client records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. Additional responsibilities may include facilitating group sessions or workshops and providing resources for further client support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Counseling Techniques, Active Listening, and Interpersonal Communication
• Strong skills in Empathy, Problem-Solving, and Conflict Resolution
• Understanding of Mental Health Issues and Knowledge of Ethical Guidelines in Mental Health Practice
• Experience in Case Documentation and Record Keeping
• Ability to Facilitate Individual and Group Sessions Effectively
• Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Licensure or certification as a Counselor is preferred but not mandatory
• Commitment to maintaining a non-judgmental and inclusive environment
