Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled System Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for handling networking issues, system and hardware troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems while adhering to security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues related to firewalls, switches, and LAN connectivity.
Monitor and maintain computer systems, and network infrastructure.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Install, configure, and support operating systems and business applications.
Handle OS-related issues (Windows) including updates, patches, and performance tuning.
Work on IT ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve user issues within defined SLAs.
Provide technical support to end-users for IT-related issues (hardware, software, and network).
Perform routine system maintenance and ensure system availability.
Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and incident reports.
Follow basic IT security practices including user access control, End point security management, and data protection.
Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies via Active Directory and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of experience in system administration or IT support.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
Familiarity with firewalls, switches, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows operating systems.
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Experience working with ticketing systems.
Good understanding of basic IT security principles.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Active Directory and user management.
Basic knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
