What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and execute import and export shipments across international, domestic, air, ocean, and ground channels to support timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and trade documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness across all import/export activity.
  • Partner closely with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, international affiliates, and internal teams to resolve shipment issues, manage priorities, and keep materials flowing smoothly.
  • Monitor shipment status, daily email traffic, and logistics activity to proactively address delays, tracking discrepancies, clearance concerns, and other time-sensitive transportation issues.
  • Support broader logistics operations through reporting, spreadsheet tracking, inventory-related coordination, KPI visibility, and continuous improvement efforts tied to efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.

How You Are Qualified

  • 2–5+ years of experience in import/export, logistics, global trade, or a related supply chain function within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Working knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, international trade compliance, and the coordination required to move goods across borders successfully.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of communication, documentation, and follow-up accurately and on time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to use spreadsheets for tracking, calculations, reporting, and day-to-day operational support.
  • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and systems, with the responsiveness, problem-solving ability, and sense of ownership needed to keep day-to-day logistics operations running smoothly.
