Job Summary

We are hiring candidates for multiple positions in our CA firm for work related to Audit, Accounts, Taxation, GST, TDS, Income Tax and Compliance.

The opening is suitable for both freshers/article assistants as well as experienced candidates who have worked in a CA firm or similar professional setup. Candidates will get practical exposure across audit assignments, accounting, taxation, return filing, compliance, reconciliations, finalization of accounts and client coordination.

Open Positions

1. Article Assistant / Junior Accountant

Suitable for freshers, CA students, B.Com/M.Com graduates, or candidates with basic accounting knowledge who are willing to learn.

2. Senior Executive – Audit, Accounts & Taxation

Suitable for candidates with prior CA firm experience and working knowledge of audit, accounting, GST, TDS, income tax, finalization and client handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit, stock audit and other audit assignments.
• Prepare audit working papers, schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Handle accounting entries, bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and books finalization.
• Prepare and assist in GST return filing, GST reconciliation and GST working.
• Prepare and assist in income tax return filing, TDS return filing and tax-related workings.
• Support in preparation of financial statements, audit reports and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with clients for data, documents, explanations and follow-ups.
• Visit client locations for audit, verification and assignment-related work as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Candidates

• Independently handle accounting, audit and taxation assignments.
• Review work prepared by juniors/article assistants.
• Manage client communication and follow-up for pending details.
• Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of audit/tax audit reports.
• Ensure proper documentation, compliance timelines and quality of work.
• Support partners/seniors in planning and execution of assignments.

Required Skills

• Basic to good knowledge of accounting, audit, GST, TDS and income tax.
• Working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work responsibly and complete tasks within timelines.
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple areas.
• Comfortable with client visits, if required.

Preferred Candidate

• CA Article Assistant / CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / B.Com / M.Com / Graduate.
• Freshers and experienced candidates both can apply.
• Prior CA firm experience will be preferred for senior role.
• Candidate staying in or around Mumbai will be preferred.

Salary will be based on qualification, experience and interview performance.
