We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trucking Insurance Broker to join our team. This role involves developing new client relationships and managing accounts within the trucking industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of insurance products tailored for trucking companies. Multilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly valued to serve a diverse client base effectively. Duties

• Conduct outside sales efforts to identify and acquire new trucking clients through networking, cold calling, and industry events
• Manage retail sales processes, including presenting insurance options and closing deals with trucking companies
• Provide expert advice on insurance coverage options tailored to the trucking industry’s needs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Utilize analysis skills to assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
• Engage in telemarketing activities to generate leads and follow up on potential clients
• Assist with sales administration tasks such as preparing proposals, quotes, and policy documentation
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products effectively within target markets
• Communicate complex insurance concepts clearly to clients, ensuring they understand coverage details and benefits
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums to achieve favorable outcomes for both clients and the company

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales, preferably within the trucking or transportation industry
• Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Analysis skills necessary for assessing client needs and risk factors
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable; bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish are preferred
• Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences
• Experience in telemarketing, marketing, or sales administration is a plus
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach
• Knowledge of insurance products related to trucking or transportation is advantageous
