About Kitalma

Kitalma is a new D2C kitchenware brand launched by a 180+ year family business. We focus on innovative, award-winning tools such as the Kitalma Perfect Press, bringing global flavours and techniques into everyday home kitchens — “we bring the world into your kitchen.” As the brand is still in its early launch stage, our website is currently under development. Role Summary

We are looking for our first growth hire to work directly with the founder to launch Kitalma in the US through D2C (Shopify) and Amazon.

This role will own paid acquisition and help build Kitalma’s early growth engine, with a focus on our hero product, the Kitalma Perfect Press, and a small number of supporting SKUs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys performance marketing, data, testing, and working in an early-stage environment as a highly independent contributor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Targets

  • Translate revenue and breakeven CAC goals into monthly channel plans and budgets
  • Define and track key KPIs including CAC, MER/ROAS, contribution margin, email-driven revenue, and new vs repeat customer mix

2. Paid Acquisition

  • Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max) for the US market
  • Run structured experiments on creatives, messaging, offers, bundles, and landing pages

3. Tracking, Analytics & Conversion

  • Set up and improve tracking and simple dashboards for weekly review
  • Work with the founder to improve landing pages and product detail pages, including messaging, images, benefit-led copy, FAQs, and social proof
  • Implement basic CRO practices such as A/B testing on headlines, hero sections, pricing presentation, and bundles

4. Email / Lifecycle

  • Set up and optimise key email flows such as welcome, browse/cart abandonment, post-purchase education, and review/UGC requests
  • Coordinate campaign calendars for product education, recipes, and promotions that support paid activity

5. Amazon & D2C Coordination

  • Support Amazon listing optimisation including titles, bullets, images, and A+ content
  • Analyse channel performance across Amazon and Shopify and suggest cross-channel actions

6. Collaboration

  • Work directly with the founder in weekly growth reviews to share results, insights, and next tests
  • Coordinate freelancers or agencies where needed while owning performance accountability
  • Document learnings and build repeatable playbooks for creative, audience, and offer testing

Must-Have Experience & Skills

  • 3–7 years’ experience in performance/growth roles for D2C or e-commerce brands, ideally in consumer products such as home, kitchen, or lifestyle
  • Hands-on experience managing Meta and Google ad accounts with combined monthly budgets of at least USD10,000–30,000
  • Strong analytical skills, including GA4, ad platform reporting, and decision-making from imperfect data
  • Experience setting up and improving email flows
  • Strong English communication skills, including ability to write or refine ad and landing page copy for US consumers
  • Comfortable working remotely with Hong Kong and US time zones

Nice to Have

  • Experience launching into the US market from a non-US base
  • Experience with Amazon ads and listings for physical products
  • Familiarity with kitchenware, cookware, or food-related brands
  • Experience working in a small team or startup environment as the main performance marketer
