Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Specialist - Electrical Systems Integration to bring their expertise to our team, embodying our core values of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Responsibilities
As part of the Electrical Systems Integration team, you will play a key role in developing, improving, certifying, and maintaining electrical power generation, distribution, and lighting system architectures across all aircraft programs. In this role, you will:
- Lead and contribute to electrical systems development and continuous improvement initiatives for both existing and future aircraft programs, including architecture optimization and technology integration
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering documentation related to electrical system changes for production and in-service aircraft (Challenger and Global platforms)
- Propose and evaluate innovative solutions to improve aircraft performance, reduce emissions, manage costs and weight, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Lead technical investigations related to electrical and lighting systems issues
- Conduct trade studies for the introduction and integration of new technologies on aircraft
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by capturing lessons learned and best practices, while mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Manage technical interfaces with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers
- Represent the Electrical Engineering discipline in cross-functional and external collaborations
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in aircraft electrical systems integration or a related field
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD) and airworthiness regulations (TCCA, FAA, EASA)
- Excellent analytical and systems-thinking skills with the ability to solve complex, multidisciplinary problems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Proven leadership capabilities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
