Job Description
We are seeking for highly skilled Aircraft Mechanics to perform hands-on maintenance, servicing, and repair of aircraft engines. The role involves both shop-based and on-wing/on-site work, requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and strict adherence to aviation safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of aircraft engines in accordance with applicable qualifications and authorizations
- Conduct engine and module disassembly, assembly, and inspection activities
- Carry out hands-on mechanical tasks in the shop and during on-wing and on-site assignments
- Read and know how to interpret equipment manuals, technical documentation, and work orders
- Diagnose engine and component issues, replace or repair parts, perform testing, and make required adjustments
- Identify errors or non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented through proper departmental processes
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience with strong knowledge of aircraft engine systems, including jet and/or piston engines
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field, preferably with specific aircraft or engine types
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent qualification required
- High school diploma or GED required
- College degree or vocational/technical training required; Bachelor’s degree considered an asset
- Fluent in English (reading and writing required)
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent knowledge of aviation safety and security regulations
- High level of commitment, flexibility, and reliability
- Experience/rating for Boeing 777 & 787 platforms highly desired
- Licenced Aircraft Mechanic (AME) - M2 license required
