Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness
• Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers or medical professionals when necessary to support pain management and rehabilitation efforts
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills

Skills

• Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in patient assessment and developing customized treatment plans
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Ability to work effectively within occupational health settings or med spa environments
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Experience with medical documentation, record keeping, and maintaining client confidentiality
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology enhances the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
