Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement and warehouse operations for our cosmetics brands. The role involves managing raw material sourcing, third-party manufacturer coordination, and warehouse logistics — ensuring seamless supply chain operations from procurement to final dispatch.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement and/or warehouse operations
- Prior experience in cosmetics, FMCG, or contract manufacturing setups will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials aligned with our proprietary formulations
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and track them through to closure
- Follow up on deliveries and resolve supply-side delays or discrepancies proactively
- Coordinate with the third-party manufacturing team on technical specifications, raw material quality standards, and production timelines
- Manage vendor payments in coordination with the finance team
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound and outbound logistics
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to avoid stockouts or excess
- Coordinate dispatches to both suppliers (raw materials) and customers (finished goods)
- Conduct and supervise quality checks at the time of receipt and before dispatch
- Lead, guide, and manage a team of Warehouse Executives
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Understanding of raw materials used in cosmetics / personal care (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with inventory management and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with PO management and basic procurement processes
- Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination with production and finance teams
- Leadership ability to manage and motivate a small team
Pay: ₹25,000.12 - ₹50,776.92 per month
