BOOKKEEPER - FAMILY OFFICE

Our client is seeking a bookkeeper who will work with family members, members of the family Office, and other employees to assist with the bookkeeping and asset management aspects of the Family Office, including individuals, LLCs and trusts. The Family Office oversees the assets of the family and provides a wide range of services to the family and their businesses.

Prerequisites:

· B.S./B.A. preferred

· Highest levels of integrity, trustworthiness, professionalism, work ethic, dependability and maintenance of confidentiality;

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant;

· Strong accounting skills, experience with general ledger functions and financial reports;

· Exemplary internal and external customer service skills, professionalism, listening, and interpersonal skills;

· Strong reporting, research, analytical, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills;

· Ability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions;

· Be energetic, positive, flexible, a team player and have a can-do attitude;

· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software) and ability to learn new software;

· Flexibility to accommodate occasional work outside of standard business hours, as needed

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for all aspects of personal and business bookkeeping for family members, including individuals, LLCs and trusts;

· Process accounts payable/bill-pay transactions and maintain ledgers;

· Preparation of financial reports;

· Perform reconciliation of other accounts;

· Assist with concierge-like services for family members

· Assist other members of the Family Office with accounts payable processing (checks, wires, etc.)
