We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in public administration, civic program management, government procurement, public finance, policy implementation, grants administration, and structured public-sector workflows.
This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured public administration review, government program workflow analysis, policy documentation, procurement and grants review, public finance materials, constituent communication, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their public-sector expertise to review realistic government and civic administration scenarios, evaluate documentation requirements, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence-based public administration workflow tasks.

Public Program & Policy Workflow Review
- Review civic administration scenarios involving policy memos, program plans, implementation materials, performance reports, council or board materials, and public-sector documentation
- Evaluate program materials against source documents, public-sector requirements, performance indicators, reporting expectations, and documented criteria
- Support structured review of federal, state, municipal, social-services, licensing, benefits, public safety, or intergovernmental workflows
- Identify missing information, documentation gaps, process issues, and expected public administration outcomes
Procurement, Grants & Public Finance Support
- Review government procurement scenarios involving RFPs, contracting materials, vendor submissions, budget justifications, grants documentation, and public finance workflows
- Evaluate procurement and finance materials against defined requirements, budget constraints, compliance rules, and supporting records
- Support structured review of FAR, DFARS, state procurement, grants management, budget materials, performance documentation, and public finance reports
- Prepare clear written explanations for public-sector decisions based on source materials and verifiable criteria
Constituent, Civic & Administrative Documentation
- Review public administration workflows involving constituent correspondence, legislative affairs, municipal operations, public communications, case materials, and administrative records
- Support structured review of materials connected to Salesforce Government Cloud, Granicus, Socrata, Esri ArcGIS Hub, DocuSign, or similar civic technology systems
- Translate public-sector workflows into clear task documentation, review criteria, and structured written outputs
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
- 3+ years of experience in public administration, civic operations, government program management, policy implementation, procurement, public finance, grants management, municipal operations, public-sector consulting, or related roles
- Experience in one or more areas such as federal program management, performance reporting, government contracting, FAR/DFARS, state procurement, public budgeting, grants administration, public safety, social services, licensing, benefits administration, legislative affairs, or intergovernmental relations
- Familiarity with tools and systems such as Salesforce Government Cloud, Granicus, Socrata, Esri ArcGIS Hub, DocuSign, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, procurement platforms, grants systems, or similar public-sector tools
- Comfort reading and preparing public-sector artifacts such as policy memos, program plans, budget justifications, RFPs, constituent correspondence, council materials, board materials, performance reports, and administrative records
- Strong analytical thinking and written communication skills
- Ability to translate public-sector workflows into clear, structured task documentation
Educational Background
- A degree or professional background in public administration, public policy, political science, government, finance, business administration, urban planning, social services, law, economics, or a related field is helpful
- Equivalent practical experience in public-sector administration, government contracting, civic operations, grants management, or public program workflows is also highly relevant
Nice to Have
- Experience at a federal agency, state government, city government, municipal department, public-sector nonprofit, major federal contractor, or civic technology environment
