Video Editor (2+ years experience)

Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad.

Timings: Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm (2nd Saturday is a holiday)

Type: On-site - full time

Compensation: 30k to 40k per month based of experience and portfolio.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Hyderabad. The Video Editor will handle the full post-production process, including organizing footage, editing video sequences, applying transitions, and refining timing and pacing to tell clear, engaging stories. Responsibilities include basic to advanced color correction and color grading, integrating motion graphics or simple graphic elements, and ensuring visual consistency across all content. The role involves close collaboration with producers, directors, and designers to interpret creative briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver on-brand video assets for multiple platforms. The Video Editor will also manage file organization, exports, and backups, and stay current with editing trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with at least 2+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to maintain consistent visual tone and correct exposure, contrast, and color balance.
• Experience creating and integrating Motion Graphics and Graphics assets to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, rhythm, and audio-visual synchronization, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional creative teams.
• Relevant education in film, media, communication, design, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is required.
