We are looking for an SEO Specialist who can handle client SEO projects with a strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, content optimization, backlink strategy, local SEO and reporting.
Role Overview
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving organic search performance for client websites. The candidate should be able to analyze websites, identify ranking issues, optimize pages, plan content opportunities and work with content writers, developers and designers to improve search visibility.
This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO beyond basic checklists and can think practically about rankings, traffic, leads and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed website SEO audits.
- Conduct keyword research based on search intent, competition and business goals.
- Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text and internal links.
- Improve on-page SEO for service pages, blogs, landing pages and category pages.
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, indexing issues, redirects, broken links and canonical problems.
- Work on Core Web Vitals, page speed and mobile SEO improvement suggestions.
- Create and implement backlink strategies.
- Analyze competitors and find content gaps.
- Coordinate with content writers for SEO-friendly blogs, website copy and landing pages.
- Work with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Create SEO reports using Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEO tools.
- Track rankings, organic traffic, leads and other SEO performance metrics.
- Support local SEO work, including Google Business Profile optimization.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, AI search, AEO and GEO trends.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO and technical SEO.
- Good understanding of keyword research and search intent.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Ubersuggest or similar.
- Basic understanding of WordPress and Shopify SEO.
- Ability to create SEO content briefs.
- Understanding of internal linking, schema markup and website structure.
- Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus.
- Good research, analysis and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects.

Qualifications
