Join LEGO® Canada as a Trade Marketing Manager! Trade Marketing plays a vital role, where focus will be to continuously improve the LEGO brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities. NOTE: This is a temporary role and expected to end after 18 months, depending on business need. Core Responsibilities Use data and insights to develop strategic business plan proposals and present recommendations to business leaders and retail partners at key selling-in and collaboration meetings throughout the year. Recommend overall shopper objectives and strategies for select key accounts, collaborating closely with the Americas Regional Retail team to determine alliances and efficiencies. Collaborate with Account Teams, and agency partners to drive an audience-first approach to engage adults, parents, gift givers and shoppers as well as consumers in master brand and key theme activations. Collaborates with Sales, Brand Marketing, and Partners (as vital) on strategies, selling-in and activation of shopper advised campaigns tied to occasions or key tentpole priorities. Establish key measures of success at outset and complete after action reviews to assess delivery against objectives and metrics. Share results both locally and regionally, and ensure learning is implemented in future projects. Do your part in our team succeeding The team is split into pillars, Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Brand Relations, Marketing Performance & Planning. This position falls within the Trade Marketing area and is a full-time position. The role reports into the Head of Marketing and has no direct reports. The successful candidate will be accountable for retail planning and activation at select accounts, in partnership with the Key Account Managers. Do you have what it takes! Equivalent work experience. Proven experience 7+ years in consumer product retail and/or events marketing or related field Consistent track record in marketing development and activation to drive demand, with examples provided. Experience/track record briefing and evaluating creative solutions Agency experience and/or agency leadership skills. Strong understanding and known to work with digital commerce and market executions Exhibits outstanding business insight, negotiation skills, team orientation, leadership, strong communication skills and analytical capabilities Experienced in planning, with strong organizational and execution abilities. Self-motivated, with an ability to collaborate, while growing in a team setting Excellent teammate, able to work independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment Strong ability to quickly adapt to any expected and/or unexpected change within the working environment A simplistic & effective work approach. You love exploring new ideas, trends and possibilities and bring them to life in creative and innovative ways. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands Relocation There is no relocation budget for this role. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law when determining the salary. A bonus scheme with a target Bonus of 0% of the annual base salary is in place for this position as well as a standard benefit package .The comprehensive remuneration details, incl. benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
