Job Summary

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will transform the client's experience by delivering on the brand's promise through every customer interaction. You will translate high-level experience strategies into detailed blueprints and feasibility requirements while participating in the design, development, and execution of experience strategies.

A typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet evolving business requirements. The role follows agile methodologies with iterative development, continuous feedback, coding, testing, and software refinement.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with the team to deliver project objectives.
• Take ownership of team decisions and provide technical leadership.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key technical and business decisions.
• Provide effective solutions to technical challenges for the immediate team as well as cross-functional teams.
• Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom software components aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure software solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Minimum 7.5 years of hands-on experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing custom software solutions within enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in developing scalable and maintainable software applications.
• Experience working with modern software development frameworks and tools.
• Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

• Experience: Minimum 7.5 years in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Location: Bengaluru.
• Education: 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
