DevSecOps & Cloud Automation Engineer

Zetier seeks a DevSecOps & Cloud Automation Engineer to design, implement, and secure our private cloud infrastructure supporting advanced cybersecurity and defense missions. Candidates will demonstrate deep experience automating infrastructure, enforcing compliance through code, and implementing Zero Trust and STIG-aligned architectures across complex, hybrid environments.

Required:

• 5+ years in DevSecOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation
• Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins)
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong Linux systems and network administration skills
• Proven ability to harden systems to STIG or equivalent baselines
• Familiar with automated monitoring (e.g. OpenSCAP, Prometheus)
• Effective collaboration across development, security, and IT teams
• Active U.S. security clearance

Desired:

• Experience with private/hybrid clouds (VMware, OpenStack)
• Knowledge of secure cloud design (AWS GovCloud, Azure, GCP)
• Familiar with policy-as-code and automated security scanning tools
• Exposure to segmentation and software-defined networking (SDN)
• Familiar with centralized logging and metrics (ELK, Graylog, Grafana)
• Experience with thin clients and PCoIP/VNC remote environments
• Understanding of NIST 800-171 / 800-53 and RMF frameworks
• Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or Go)
