What We're Looking For:

Operate and maintain machines and equipment while adhering to all quality and safety standards.
The pre-press associate gathers and prepares components and supplies for production orders. The focus
of this position is to ensure the color press is able to run with all of the materials needed to run orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and understands the functions and basic mechanical workings of assigned

machines under limited supervision.

• Completes a full setup and operation of rewind machine that converts material from one roll size

to another to form finished rolls of specified footage or diameter.

• Follows work order instructions and performs labeling requirements.

• Be able to make adjustments and troubleshooting using hand tools.

• Performs quality tests per ISO procedures.

• Adheres to productivity standards.

• Complies with all required safety practices and use of PPE.

• Contributes primarily through execution of defined processes and procedures but may make

suggestions for process improvement.

• Resolves a variety of problems of limited complexity by following highly detailed instructions or

procedures.

• Transmits and receives basic information related to role in order to carry out duties.

• Builds productive working relationships internally, generally within immediate department or team.

• Learns policies and procedures and how to apply them to issues experienced in routine activities.

• Learns and closely follows established processes and directions.

• Receives Direct Supervision for routine work, new projects or assignments.

• Trains other team members directed by supervisor or lead.

repares printing plates, dies, inks, boxes, labels, cores, paperwork and other supplies for production

orders

– Precisely mounts flexible printing plates on print cylinders

– Returns and inventories unused components when order is complete

– Operates electric lift cart with working platform at height

– Performs accurate inventory transactions using handheld scanner

– Assists with inventory count

– Collaborates with planning department and material handlers to set jobs appropriately

– Demonstrates the ability to operate the press while press operator is on break

– Has basic QA knowledge and demonstrates ability to performs quality checks and inspection on

products if needed.

– Demonstrates the ability to actively participate and follow all safety regulations, polices and initiatives.

Including performing daily maintenance inspection and reporting any issue of concerns appropriate

leader.

Also perform Pre press activites when requested.

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
