We’re hiring: Strong Rust Developer (Remote) - Secure Email / Privacy / Security Project
At Zangula , we build real products for real clients - remote-first, high ownership, and strong engineering standards. We care about clean delivery, clear communication, and shipping systems that actually work in production.
Right now, we’re starting a new and especially challenging project in the secure email / privacy / security space.
This is not a “greenfield toy project.” There is an existing Rust codebase that needs someone strong to:
learn it deeply, stabilize and improve it, fix issues and edge cases, strengthen reliability and performance, and lead it toward a clean production deployment and security readiness (prep for security testing/audits).
What we’re looking forStrong hands-on experience with Rust Ability to ramp up quickly on an existing codebase Backend/systems experience (performance, reliability, debugging complex issues) Big advantage: experience with security / encryption / privacy / infrastructure / scalable systems A developer who takes ownership , communicates clearly, and isn’t afraid of complex code
