Z SofTech Solutions, Inc. is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior PBX/VoIP Technician to serve as designated Key Personnel on a mission-critical contract supporting the Department of State (DOS) Office of Emergency Management (OEM) working onsite in Bluemont, Virginia.
In this zero-fail environment, you will be the primary technical authority responsible for the continuous operation, maintenance, and sustainment of secure PBX and VoIP telecommunications infrastructure. Because this facility supports national preparedness and classified interagency operations, an active Top Secret clearance is strictly required prior to the start of performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level PBX and VoIP telecommunications systems in a highly secure, classified government facility.
- Provide multi-platform administration and Tier-3 support across a mixed environment utilizing Avaya, Cisco, Mitel, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ensure high-availability and zero-downtime performance of mission-essential communications infrastructure.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Government IT Specialists to support continuity exercises and emergency activations (including occasional after-hours support driven by real-world events).
- Perform ongoing infrastructure health checks, vulnerability patching (using DOS-approved software), and physical hardware maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and be eligible for immediate Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) read-on.
- Experience: Demonstrated senior-level engineering and O&M experience across enterprise PBX/VoIP platforms (specifically Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, and/or MS Teams).
- Reliability: Ability to serve as the designated "Key Personnel" for this contract, which requires signing a formal Letter of Intent (LOI) confirming your availability to execute this mission upon contract award.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of secure facility logistics, telecommunications boundary defense, and federal IT compliance standards.
