Position: Law Enforcement Officer for Schools

Location: Cranberry Portage

Serve as a Law Enforcement Officer to safeguard educational environments. Patrol, investigate, and enforce applicable laws ensuring safety across district campuses.

This role focuses on maintaining the physical safety of students, staff, and property while fulfilling law enforcement duties. Applicants need a Texas Peace Officer License and should possess solid knowledge of criminal laws, report writing, and techniques for subduing offenders. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to manage interactions with the school community effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle
• Respond to and manage crisis situations
• Gather evidence for criminal investigations
• Write detailed legal reports when necessary
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Texas Peace Officer License needed
• Knowledge of police report writing and criminal laws
• Ability to use firearms and follow safety procedures
• Background in law enforcement or similar experience
