Elementary School Counseling Role

Drive the implementation of a school counseling program aimed at maximizing student academic and personal potential. Assist students in crisis situations and promote essential life skills. This full-time role requires applicants to hold a Master’s degree in counseling and maintain a valid Texas school counselor certificate.

You’ll be expected to counsel students, implement guidance curriculums, and provide resources tailored to diverse needs, including special populations. Teaching experience of at least two years is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate a comprehensive counseling program
• Offer personalized counseling for student growth
• Deliver curricula in small and large group settings
• Aid students in navigating crises effectively
• Work collaboratively with parents and school staff Requirements:
• Master’s degree in counseling is essential
• Valid Texas counselor certification required
• At least two years of teaching experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
