Founding Engineer – In-Person (Bay Area)

Xuman.AI is hiring Founding Engineers in the Bay Area. In person.

Xuman.AI is an operating system that turns content into instant booking, designed for human-led services.

On the surface, it collapses fragmented workflows into one system. Under the hood, we are building something far deeper: The Human Experience Engine, our Persona Compatibility layer. This engine matches the right person with the right fit at the right time, based on who they are, what they want, and how they connect.

The OS is the product. The engine is the moat.

The founder’s vision is to layer cognitive science into human persona compatibility, leading to hyper-personalized, real-time human connections.

We have spent the past stretch de-risking the company: ideation, market research, pilots, MVP, and a technical foundation built to scale. The product is built and moving toward launch. Distribution is in motion. Patents and trademarks are in motion. The founding team is fully committed.

You’ll work in person in the Bay Area alongside the founders and our early founding team. This is not a narrow engineering role. You’ll help architect the product, harden the systems, make foundational technical decisions, and own the real-time sync between product and distribution once we start putting Xuman in front of customers.

Breakage will happen live. We need engineers who can read a broken signal and fix it before the customer notices, not after.

This role includes founder-level equity and cash compensation aligned with our early-funding and growth stages. It is designed for someone who wants ownership, trust, and the opportunity to shape not just the technology but the core of the company.

What you’ll do:

• Build and scale core backend systems and APIs
• Implement AI workflows across the product
• Make foundational decisions across infrastructure, tools, and architecture
• Own product readiness for launch
• Work closely with distribution, customer feedback, and live product signals
• Co-lead recruitment and mentor future engineering hires
