Data Scientist - NLP/LLM

Job Description :The Position : Senior Data Scientist (NLP)Your Opportunity :As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be expected to :- Integrate and apply state-of-the-art language processing models and algorithms to extract insights from large volumes of text data- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using NLP techniques- Mentor and guide other chapter members, providing technical support and expertise- Present findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations, communicate ideas for team Analytics & Automation and willingly receive feedback for self-improvement- Create and manage documentation for different data science / data engineering projects- Collaborate in an agile and cross-functional team with other Data Scientists, Automation experts as well as business experts, so our Roche peers and patients will receive AMAZING solutions- Lead data mining and collection procedures- Ensure data quality and integrity- Interpret and analyze data problems- Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects- Build analytic systems and predictive models- Test performance of data-driven products- Visualize data and create reports- Align data projects with organizational goal- Understands business problems and designs end-to-end analytics use cases- Develops complex models and algorithms that drive innovation throughout the organization. This may include improving on-time performance, network planning, etc.,- Conducts advanced statistical analysis to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance- Collaborates with model developers to implement and deploy scalable solutions- Provides thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments, and collaborating with industry leadersWho You Are :- You have a Bachelor's Degree (Masters is a plus) in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or information science- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multicultural environment with global processes (Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT)- You have 2 years of professional work experience in:- Utilizing machine learning frameworks and libraries to build, train, and deploy NLP models (LLM experience is a plus), and- Integrating your solution within AWS and/or GCP and leveraging services provided by AWS and/or GCP- You are a strong team player with interpersonal skills and strong collaborative and solution-focused mindset- You possess strong communication, networking skills, you are someone who enjoys working with others and acts as a team player- You want to contribute to solving business problems, taking on what tasks are necessary to make valuable solutions come to life- You have extensive experience with stakeholder management- English is a must, additional languages are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
