We are looking for a collaborative Senior Reward Analyst to join our Global Reward and Transformation team for a maternity cover FTC. Reporting to the Global Head of Reward & Transformation, this role offers great flexibility and can be based out of our London office, our Manchester office, or remotely.
This position plays a vital role in designing, developing, and administering reward programmes that welcome, motivate, and retain diverse and critical talent across our organisation. Working alongside an open, supportive global team, you will help us foster a fair and transparent pay philosophy focused deeply on diversity, equity, and inclusion. What you'll be doing:
In this role, you will combine your analytical expertise with strategic thinking to shape a fair and competitive global compensation landscape. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Global Programme Management: Support the WPP Reward team on the day-to-day management, analysis, and communication of our global compensation programmes.
- Data Analysis & Market Insights: Collect, analyse, and interpret compensation data (including pay levels, mix, and industry best practices) to identify trends and ensure our market positioning remains fair and competitive.
- Strategic & Legislative Advisory: Provide analytical support, formulate creative solutions, and deliver recommendations around Global Reward strategy, evolving pay legislation, and global job architecture.
- Organisational Design & Benchmarking: Support internal stakeholders by helping to develop clear organisational structures, benchmarking, and equitable salary structures.
- Accessible Data Modelling: Organise multiple data streams into clear, accessible formats, using Excel and Power BI to build models that support financial budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Project Delivery & Transformation: Support large-scale, complex projects that drive group-wide transformational programmes, specifically linked to compensation legislation and job architecture.
- Competitor & Trend Research: Research market practices to maintain awareness of competitor strategies, regulatory shifts, and emerging trends in compensation and design.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with diverse teams across Finance, Tax, Legal, and HR to support the delivery of our global programmes.
- Transparent Communications: Assist in developing clear, accessible, and engaging communications to explain compensation plans, policies, and programme designs to employees at all levels.
- Careful Administration: Manage and maintain accurate, organised records of our reward plans and programmes.
What you'll need:

- Industry Experience: Proven experience working as a Reward Analyst within a large, complex organisation.
- Legislative Expertise: Experienced in leading UK GPG reporting, European Pay Transparency and other global transparency requirements.
- General Reward Expertise: Strong theoretical and applied knowledge of Reward, HR, and job architecture design principles.
- Analytical Excellence: Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to synthesise complex data from multiple sources and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Advanced Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in excel and the Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerBI) is a must. You should be highly comfortable building complex formulas and data visualisations.
- Project Support Track Record: Demonstrable experience of supporting large-scale, complex projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data and communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Execution & Detail: Exceptional organisation, excellent time management skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
