Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Mobile Wound Care | Washington DC

Woundworx is a physician-led mobile advanced wound care practice serving DC. We bring specialty wound care directly to patients in their homes, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities. We're hiring an LPN for our DC pod.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | No weekends | No nights | No on-call

Employment Type: Flexible – 1099 contract or W-2 (your choice)

What You'll Do

• Conduct in-home and facility-based wound care visits across Washington DC
• Complete dressing changes, wound measurements, and compression therapy
• Assist with UltraMist low-frequency ultrasound treatments
• Document visits in CharmHealth EMR with Tissue Analytics wound imaging
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care, offloading, and skin integrity
• Coordinate with NPs, PAs, and remote clinical staff for continuity of care
• Maintain your mobile clinical kit and supply inventory

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted LPN license in Washington DC
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (wound care, home health, LTC, or hospice preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
• Comfort with mobile field-based work and EMR documentation
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

• Prior wound care or home health experience
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation standards
• WCC or wound care certification (or willingness to pursue)
