Role Overview:
You will work as a Warehouse Supervisor I with Worley, collaborating with the existing team to deliver projects for clients while enhancing your skills and experience. You will provide shipping and receiving support, maintain inventory control, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure warehouse maintenance and cleanliness. Additionally, you will be responsible for material management functions on-site as per the Construction Management Plan and certification of vendor invoices for supply items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study the Construction Management Plan and understand the processes for material management during the construction phase
- Estimate area requirements for storage and coordinate with the Customer for area allotment
- Supervise and manage the material handling contractor, ensuring compliance with the scope of material management
- Coordinate with the home office expediting team to track expediting status and delivery instructions
- Receive incoming materials, reconcile with purchase orders, verify against Inspection Release Notes, and unload through the material handling contractor
- Generate Daily Material Receipt Report (DMR) and conduct physical verification of materials
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN's) in the ERM system to record material receipts
- Store materials in designated locations, maintain Bin cards, and conduct periodic verifications
- Issue materials to contractors based on Material Issue Vouchers (MIV's) / Store requisitions and update stock records
- Verify measurement sheets, certify vendor invoices, and submit to the Customer based on Purchase Order terms
- Liaise with contractors and the Construction Management team for material reconciliation and surplus material handover to the Customer
Qualification Required:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and material management
- Strong understanding of Construction Management Plans and processes
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including contractors, engineers, and customers
- Proficiency in generating reports, verifying materials, and maintaining inventory records
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, customers, and internal teams
