Intermediate Environmental Scientist Focusing on Contaminated Site Management

Oversee environmental field projects as an Intermediate Environmental Scientist. Lead assessments and remediation initiatives while supporting junior team members and ensuring high standards of safety and sustainability. Candidates should possess three years of related field experience, particularly in Alberta, or have substantial field experience and aspirations for leadership roles within the team. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage environmental field sampling and remediation activities
• Conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments under provincial guidelines
• Allocate 75% of time to fieldwork, focusing on hands-on leadership
• Mentor less experienced professionals and new hires
• Support project managers in execution and planning efforts Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar
• 3 years of practical field experience desired
• Proven mentoring skills and organizational abilities
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
