Senior Node.js Developer (Express.js / Nest.js) – PostgreSQL

Role Overview

We are hiring an Experienced Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js / Nest.js, and PostgreSQL to build and scale high-performance backend systems.

This role focuses purely on backend architecture, API development, database optimization, and scalable system design. We are looking for someone who writes production-grade backend code — not basic CRUD-level implementations.

You will work closely with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable services powering our SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build structured and secure REST APIs
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries, indexing, and database performance
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, role-based access)
• Design modular and maintainable backend architecture
• Handle database migrations and schema planning
• Improve system performance, caching, and scalability
• Write clean, testable, and production-ready code
• Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js
• Experience with Express.js and/or Nest.js
• Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge (indexes, joins, transactions, optimization)
• Experience building scalable REST APIs
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming
• Git workflow and version control discipline
• Experience working in production environments

Nice to Have

• Redis or caching strategies
• Microservices architecture
• Docker knowledge
• AWS deployment experience
• Experience handling high-traffic systems
