Senior Systems Engineer (L3/L4)

We are looking for a skilled Senior Systems Engineer (L3/L4) to join our team. This role is ideal for a technical professional who excels in managing complex Windows and cloud platforms and has the leadership maturity to mentor junior staff while ensuring infrastructure excellence.

As a key figure on the technical team, you will serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues, a security strategist, and a hands-on leader, ensuring our network remains resilient across various client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Infrastructure Support: Expert-level management and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments. Must be highly skilled in creating and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP.
• Network & Security Management: Oversee and optimize Fortinet firewalls, HP edge switches, and Ubiquiti UniFi wireless and switching products.
• Microsoft 365 & Security: Lead the management of O365 tenants, focusing on Microsoft Purview (Information Protection & Governance), the Security & Compliance Center, and Intune (MDM/MAM).
• Access Control: Develop and implement detailed Conditional Access policies to uphold Zero Trust security principles.
• Multi-Tenant Management: Manage and secure multiple client environments efficiently, ensuring consistent high availability.
• Technical Escalation & Mentorship: Act as the L3/L4 point of contact for complex technical issues. You will also coach, train, and mentor L1- and L2-level technicians to enhance the team's overall technical skills.

Technical Requirements

• Networking Experience with Fortinet (Firewalls/SD-WAN), HP/Aruba (Edge Switching), and UniFi (WAPs/Switches).
• Deep knowledge of GPO design, Active Directory, and Server 2019-2025.
• Expertise in Intune (Device Enrollment/Configuration), Microsoft Purview, and the Security & Compliance Center.
• Proficiency in Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection within Microsoft Entra.
• Experience with Multi-tenant management tools and RMM/PSA workflows.
• Experience with Datto RMM, PSA, and IT Glue will be good to have
• Experience in VOIP systems.

Certifications (Preferred Assets)

While hands-on experience is highly valued, the following certifications are considered a significant advantage:

• Microsoft Legacy: MCSE (Core Infrastructure/Productivity), MCSA (Windows Server 2019-2025), or MCDST.
• Microsoft Modern (Azure/M365): AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or AZ-800/801 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator), AZ-900
• MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert) or SC-400 (Information Protection Administrator).
• Network/Security: Fortinet NSE 4 (Network Security Professional) or higher.

• Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactively identifying infrastructure gaps and implementing solutions.
• Leadership: Innate drive to teach others and lead by example during outages or complex projects.
• Analytical Thinking: Excellent troubleshooting skills capable of analyzing complex systems and quickly pinpointing root causes.
• Documentation: High standards for documenting network structures, GPO configurations, and SOPs.
