Job description
Company Description
Workleap is a Montreal-based tech company, founded in 2006. We're builders at heart, we make simple products that actually matter to the people who use them. We have two product lines: The Workleap Agent, our agentic HR platform that helps managers become better leaders, and ShareGate, the world's leading solution for Microsoft 365 migration and governance. More than 15,000 companies worldwide trust us to do exactly that. We're intentional about who joins us. If you're the kind of person who gets excited by a hard problem and wants to help shape what comes next, there's a place for you here.
Your role
We have a story worth telling, and we need someone to build the engine that tells it. As our Content Marketing Manager, you'll shape how Workleap shows up across the funnel: thought leadership, paid campaigns, customer communications, and everything in between. You spot the angle worth pursuing, decide the format that will land it, and get it out the door across every channel it deserves.
This is a hands-on role with room to shape the approach alongside the Head of Marketing. You'll audit what exists, establish production rhythms, and develop the distribution logic that powers the entire marketing system. We set the strategy together. You come with strong ideas about what to say, why, and in what form.
Your impact:
- Build and run a content engine that gets maximum value from a single idea, turning internal signals, product launches, and expert knowledge into multi-format assets across channels, with consistency.
- Decide which medium serves the objective, knowing when a message lands best as writing, visual, in person, or video. Then, producing or directing it so the format fits our objectives.
- Find angles worth pursuing and shape our narrative, mapping internal content sources and co-developing the plan with the Head of Marketing, then owning the distribution logic that feeds paid, growth, and customer marketing.
- Turn internal expertise into content by identifying product leaders, managers, and subject matter experts worth putting in front of an audience, and supporting the framework that gets them there.
- Own performance tracking and reporting and use your learnings to sharpen angles, formats, and where we invest next.
- Integrate AI across the content workflow, from research and signal detection to drafting and distribution, with the judgment to know where AI creates leverage, where people have to author, and which format a given objective actually calls for.
Your team
You'll join a small, high-ownership marketing team repositioning the product through a pivotal phase: launching an agentic offering while establishing Workleap's market position. This is a chance to own real ground. You'll run content with genuine autonomy and accountability, shaping the strategy with the Head of Marketing and owning the rest yourself. The role is cross-functional, so you'll be a key collaborator across the team, and they'll count on your expertise to keep everyone moving fast.
What you'll bring
- 4+ years in content marketing, editorial, or a content role spanning multiple formats.
- Strong editorial instinct: you know what makes a message land and you recognize the story angle in almost anything.
- Proven copywriting ability across long-form and short-form.
- A feel for medium: you know when an idea is better served by writing, by a visual, or by video, and you can produce or direct accordingly.
- Autonomy and proactive ownership: you build the brief, pitch the idea, and carry it end-to-end.
- Fluent with AI content tools as a practitioner, with the judgment to push output past the generic AI baseline into something real and distinctive.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where the playbook is still being written.
- Bonus: French.
Most of this sounds like you? Apply.
What the job comes with
- Base salary: 85K to 105K. This range reflects our Canada-wide compensation scale. Final offers may be adjusted based on the candidate's region to align with local market conditions.
- Pay mix: 90% base salary, 10% variable
- OTE: $95K - $117K
- LTIP program, share in Workleap's long-term growth.
- RRSP + Family health insurance + telemedicine + annual wellness budget.
- Flexible vacation policy.
- Remote work, with access to our Montreal office.
- In-person gathering twice a year.
- Claude access, for everyone.
What drives us
At Workleap, we build software that sits at the center of how people experience work, every day, at every level.
We move fast. Priorities shift, decisions get made with the information we have, and we iterate. If you thrive on intensity and ambiguity doesn't slow you down, you'll feel right at home.
We're builders. We do what it takes to move forward. AI is part of our toolkit. We use it to go faster and decide smarter, not to replace judgment.
If you want real impact and a place where your decisions matter, this is it.
How we hire
Transparency is how we hire — for you as much as for us.
Here's how it works: a first call with a recruiter, then a virtual interview with the hiring manager. You'll then complete a take-home case study, followed by a meet with future colleagues to discuss it together. Depending on the role, the process may vary slightly — your recruiter will walk you through it on your first call.
We use AI to support certain steps of the process, but every hiring decision remains human.
We can't wait to meet you.
By applying, you confirm that you have read and agree to our privacy policy.
