As a Senior Business Analyst at Wissen Technology, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams. With your deep domain knowledge in areas such as Treasury, Payments, Invoicing for Physical Commodities, and other financial instruments, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements across global teams in a dynamic and complex project environment. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Gather, analyze, and clearly document business requirements and functional specifications.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring mutual understanding of needs and solutions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain close communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead or coordinate with business analysts across multiple regions, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Collaborate with architecture and process reengineering teams to define logical design and optimize business processes.
- Oversee vendor teams and ensure timely delivery of agreed solutions.
- Validate technical requirements and design against business needs, ensuring traceability and quality.
- Provide 3rd-line production support for critical trading systems and liaise with technical teams for resolution.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement and drive transformational changes.
- Work on system migrations and interfaces, ensuring smooth integration across platforms.
- Ensure effective QA and testing processes aligned with business requirements.
In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in requirements analysis within a commercial or trading environment.
- Proven ability to communicate across business and IT, including global stakeholders.
- Capable of working independently or leading a team of Business Analysts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Domain expertise in at least one of the following areas: Treasury and Payments, Invoicing for Physical Commodities & Tax Settlements & Confirmations, Reconciliation & Statements, Trade Finance & Money Market Instruments.
- Experience in complex project environments or IT program delivery.
- Exposure to migration projects and system interface design.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as QlikView is a plus.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience driving business process change and reengineering.
