As a Database Administrator (DBA) at WillWare Technologies, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting highly available and scalable database environments, with a strong focus on Apache Cassandra and other NoSQL databases. Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator with hands-on expertise in Cassandra, Redis, MariaDB, and/or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of NoSQL database concepts and distributed systems.
- Solid experience working with Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of replication consistency models, partitioning, and data distribution.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, OpsCenter, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with DevOps and SRE metrics, including change failure rate, lead time for changes, and automation maturity.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on expertise in Apache Cassandra and other relevant NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of database concepts, distributed systems, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and SRE metrics.
