Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Queens, NS, for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. In this role, the individual will assist in overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage services, ensuring quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, inventory management, supporting menu planning, monitoring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Assistant

Manager will also contribute to training and mentoring team members while identifying opportunities to enhance service efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service operations, including knowledge of food safety standards, beverage management, and menu planning
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and supervise staff effectively
• Customer service expertise, with an emphasis on maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction
• Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and resource optimization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of health and safety regulations in food and beverage settings
• Relevant experience in a similar role; a degree or diploma in hospitality, management, or a related field is a plus
