York, helping to redefine how modern B2B companies manage billing and revenue infrastructure. They're focused on building revenue-critical systems that power complex financial workflows. The platform is already trusted by customers, yet remains early enough for engineers to shape foundational architecture and influence long-term technical direction.

The Roles

This organization is hiring both Frontend Engineers and Backend Engineers at the mid-level and senior levels. These roles will play a critical part in designing and delivering the systems that power modern billing infrastructure. They don't hire for language- they're looking for keen learners and people with strong software fundamentals. They're confident in teaching you what you don't already know. Both roles offer meaningful ownership, influence over architectural decisions, and the opportunity to build systems that must scale 10x without compromising performance or cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-grade systems
• Develop scalable event-driven and distributed architectures
• Contribute to AI-powered workflow and automation capabilities
• Optimize performance, reliability, and horizontal scalability
• Shape backend and product architecture in a growing team
• Collaborate closely in a high-trust, high-impact engineering culture

Requirements

• Proven experience building production software in either frontend or backend domains
• Type Script and React experience.
• Strong system design fundamentals and understanding of scalability
• Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures
• Comfort working in ambiguity within a scaling environment
• Clear, thoughtful communication skills
• Google Cloud, Terraform
• Nice to have (Backend): deep relational database and query optimization expertise
