Job Description
Our client, a fast-paced and innovative SaaS company, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their fully remote, design-centric team. This role is crucial in shaping the user experience and visual design of our cutting-edge software products. You will be responsible for translating complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design, along with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. Key Responsibilities: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs and behaviors. Create user personas, journey maps, and information architecture to define product strategy and user flows. Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and functionality. Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UIs) for web and mobile applications, adhering to brand guidelines. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers throughout the product development lifecycle. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis. Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across products. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and articulate design decisions clearly. Advocate for the user and champion best practices in UX/UI design. Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of designing successful digital products. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects, demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design. Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc. Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards. Experience designing for complex web applications and/or SaaS products. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience working within agile development methodologies is a plus.
