Job Description

Our client, a forward-thinking digital solutions provider, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their innovative team. This role is instrumental in shaping the user experience of cutting-edge digital products and platforms. You will be responsible for translating complex user needs into intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning interfaces. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design user-centered solutions across various digital mediums.This is a fully remote position, enabling you to work from anywhere in Canada .

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design process from concept to final handoff, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and inform design decisions. Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications. Develop and maintain a consistent design language and style guide across all digital products. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives. Translate complex user requirements into elegant and effective design solutions. Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the end-user throughout the product development lifecycle. Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback. Present design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

A strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of UX/UI principles and a proven track record of designing successful digital products. 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on web and mobile applications. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and information architecture. Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies. Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and color theory. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment. Experience with front-end development concepts is a plus. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
