Senior Renewable Energy Analyst - Solar & Wind

Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis of renewable energy markets, including policy, regulatory, and technological trends, with a focus on solar and wind power. Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the economic viability and profitability of renewable energy projects. Perform site assessments and feasibility studies for potential solar and wind farm developments. Analyze energy generation data, PPA terms, and market price forecasts to support investment decisions. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering, finance, and business development teams to identify and evaluate new project opportunities. Monitor the performance of existing renewable energy assets and identify areas for optimization. Stay abreast of advancements in renewable energy technologies and their potential impact on project economics. Support the due diligence process for project acquisitions and partnerships. Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap development for the company's renewable energy portfolio. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards. Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental), Economics, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a specific focus on solar and wind power analysis. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proven experience in financial modeling and data analysis. In-depth knowledge of energy markets, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Python, R, MATLAB). Excellent report writing and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Understanding of project development lifecycles and key challenges in renewable energy. Experience with GIS tools or energy simulation software is a plus.
