Senior Real Estate Appraiser

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Real Estate Appraiser to join their reputable firm in Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN . This role is crucial for providing accurate and defensible real estate valuations for a variety of purposes, including mortgage lending, investment analysis, and property disposition. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of appraisal methodologies, local market dynamics, and relevant regulations. You will be responsible for conducting detailed property inspections, performing comprehensive market research, and preparing high-quality appraisal reports.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Research and analyze market data, including comparable sales, rental rates, and economic trends, to determine property values. Apply various appraisal approaches (e.g., sales comparison, cost, income capitalization) as appropriate for the property type. Prepare detailed and well-supported appraisal reports in compliance with USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) and client requirements. Maintain current knowledge of real estate market conditions, zoning regulations, and local development trends. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other industry professionals. Review and critique appraisals prepared by other appraisers as needed. Mentor junior appraisers and provide guidance on appraisal practices and report writing. Ensure all appraisal assignments are completed accurately, ethically, and within deadline. Manage workload efficiently and prioritize assignments effectively. Stay updated on changes in appraisal standards, regulations, and technologies. Participate in continuing education to maintain professional designations and licenses. Qualifications:

Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in good standing. Minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate appraisal. Proven expertise in appraising a diverse range of property types. In-depth understanding of appraisal theory, principles, and techniques. Proficiency in appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex valuation concepts. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
