Senior Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

You will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and educating families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary and acute care for infants, children, and adolescents. Conduct thorough physical examinations and developmental assessments. Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries. Order, interpret, and manage laboratory and diagnostic tests. Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans. Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans. Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare providers. Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records. Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate care. Stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric healthcare. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior nursing staff. Advocate for the health and well-being of pediatric patients. Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) from an accredited program. Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenses in Uttar Pradesh. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification (e.g., CPNP). Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Extensive knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and care standards. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Excellent diagnostic, therapeutic, and clinical decision-making skills. Strong communication, empathy, and patient education abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
