Senior Logistics Operations Manager

As a Senior Logistics Operations Manager at our client, a leading national provider of supply chain and logistics services in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, IN, you will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations, managing transportation networks, and ensuring efficient flow of goods from origin to destination. Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize day-to-day warehouse and distribution center operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Oversee transportation logistics, including carrier management, route optimization, and fleet management.
• Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics coordinators to foster high performance and safety culture.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems and procedures for accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, trends, and improvement opportunities.

• Develop and manage operational budgets for cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners for seamless supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and warehouse operations management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale warehouse operations and transportation networks.
• Extensive knowledge of WMS and TMS software.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and forecasting.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
