Our client, a prestigious global investment bank with a significant presence in **Delhi, Delhi, IN**, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Investment Banking Analyst to join their Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team. This role demands exceptional financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of corporate finance, and a proven ability to manage complex transaction processes. You will work on high-value M&A deals across various industries, providing strategic advisory services to corporate clients. Key Responsibilities:

Develop complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, and sum-of-the-parts analyses, to support M&A transactions. Conduct extensive company and industry research to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities for clients. Prepare detailed pitch books, presentations, and memoranda for client meetings and deal execution. Assist in managing the M&A transaction process from origination through closing, including due diligence, negotiation, and documentation. Support senior bankers in client interactions, deal marketing, and relationship management. Analyze financial statements, market data, and other relevant information to assess valuation and transaction viability. Monitor market trends and economic conditions relevant to M&A activity. Coordinate with internal teams (legal, tax, etc.) and external advisors (accountants, consultants) throughout the deal process. Mentor and guide junior analysts, contributing to team development. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a related finance role, with a focus on M&A. Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills. Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance theory. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism. Experience in specific industry sectors is a plus.
