Senior Information Security Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to join their cybersecurity team in Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN . This role is pivotal in safeguarding the organization's digital assets and sensitive data against evolving cyber threats. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for implementing and managing security controls, conducting risk assessments, monitoring security incidents, and developing robust defense strategies. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain security measures and controls across various IT systems and networks. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses. Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools, investigating potential security breaches and incidents. Develop and execute incident response plans, coordinating efforts to mitigate threats and restore systems. Analyze security risks and threats, providing recommendations for mitigation and prevention. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization. Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system design, development, and deployment. Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees. Manage security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions. Perform security audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS). Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization's business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on security analysis, incident response, and risk management. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and best practices. Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and other security technologies. Familiarity with network security, cryptography, and application security. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. This is a hybrid role, requiring regular presence in our Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN office.
