Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Installation & Maintenance Technician to join their team in **Nagpur, Maharashtra, IN**. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance, efficiency, and longevity of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a diverse range of commercial and industrial properties. You will be responsible for leading installation projects, performing complex diagnostics, conducting preventative maintenance, and executing repairs on various HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, control systems, and air balancing principles. Experience with different types of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and split systems, is essential. You will also be expected to troubleshoot and resolve intricate mechanical and electrical issues, often under pressure, to minimize downtime for clients. This position requires strong hands-on skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. Safety is paramount, and you must adhere to all industry safety standards and best practices. The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and provide exceptional customer service is key. Leadership potential to guide junior technicians and assist with training is also highly valued. This is a field-based role requiring a commitment to on-site work at our Nagpur location and client sites within the region. Responsibilities: Lead the installation of complex HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on a variety of HVAC equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in HVAC units. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards and building codes. Manage inventory of parts and tools, and maintain accurate service records. Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues promptly. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians. Communicate effectively with clients regarding service issues and recommendations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in HVAC is required. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and maintenance. Proficiency with various types of HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and VRF systems. Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and control technologies. Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC system failures. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong customer service and communication skills.
