This pivotal role is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, developing compelling grant proposals, and managing fundraising campaigns to secure the financial resources necessary to support the organization's mission. You will conduct thorough research to identify potential grant sources from foundations, corporations, and government agencies, evaluating their alignment with the organization's programs and objectives. Crafting persuasive and articulate grant proposals, reports, and other fundraising collateral will be a primary responsibility. The Senior Grant Writer will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and funding partners, ensuring effective communication and stewardship. You will also play a key role in developing and executing broader fundraising strategies, including events, direct mail appeals, and online campaigns. Experience in budget development for proposals and managing grant budgets post-award is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a proven track record of success in grant writing and fundraising, preferably within the non-profit sector.
