Senior Field Service Technician

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team in **Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, IN**. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex machinery across various industrial and commercial settings. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical understanding, and the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.

Key Responsibilities: Perform expert-level installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment. Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections to identify and address potential problems before they cause downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults with precision and efficiency. Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and effective use of the equipment. Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repair and maintenance activities. Document all service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, maintaining accurate service records. Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical challenges and contribute to product improvement. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working on-site. Train junior technicians on best practices and troubleshooting techniques. Manage service schedules and prioritize tasks to meet client deadlines and service level agreements. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior capacity. Demonstrable expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading and understanding technical diagrams and schematics. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field environment. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. Willingness to travel within the region as required. Relevant certifications in mechanical or electrical fields are highly desirable. Experience with diagnostic software and tools is a plus.
