Our client, a leading environmental consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Environmental Scientist to join their team in Gurugram, Haryana, IN . This is an on-site position requiring regular fieldwork and client interaction. You will play a critical role in managing and executing a diverse range of environmental projects, from impact assessments to site remediation and compliance monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science, geology, or a related field, with extensive experience in environmental regulations and fieldwork. Your responsibilities will include conducting site investigations, collecting and analyzing environmental data, preparing technical reports, and providing expert guidance to clients. You will lead project teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure the highest quality of work. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. You should be adept at navigating complex environmental challenges and developing effective solutions. This role requires a commitment to environmental stewardship and a proactive approach to safeguarding natural resources. We are looking for a seasoned professional who can provide technical leadership and strategic direction to environmental initiatives. This role will involve significant travel to project sites. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute environmental projects, including environmental impact assessments (EIAs), site investigations, and remediation projects. Conduct fieldwork, including soil, water, and air sampling, and environmental monitoring. Analyze environmental data and interpret results in the context of regulatory requirements. Prepare comprehensive technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory submissions. Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on environmental compliance and management strategies. Lead project teams, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to budget. Develop and implement environmental management plans and best practices. Stay updated on environmental regulations, policies, and industry best practices. Collaborate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams. Ensure the health and safety of project teams during fieldwork. Qualifications: Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or management. Proven experience in managing diverse environmental projects and fieldwork. In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, CPCB guidelines) and permitting processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills. Proficiency in environmental modeling software and data analysis tools is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing project teams. Ability to travel to project sites as required. Commitment to environmental protection and sustainable practices.
