As a Senior Automotive Mechanic and Diagnostics Specialist at our client's leading automotive service provider in Hyderabad, Telangana, IN, you will be utilizing your exceptional technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, from luxury sedans to heavy-duty trucks. Your role will involve performing complex diagnostic procedures, conducting routine maintenance, repairing major automotive components, troubleshooting electrical issues, and staying updated with the latest automotive technologies. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate service records, advising customers on vehicle maintenance needs, adhering to safety protocols, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth diagnostics on all makes and models of vehicles using advanced scan tools and diagnostic software.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Repair and replace major automotive components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and exhaust systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, including wiring, sensors, and control modules.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous training and development.
  • Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
  • Advise customers on vehicle maintenance and repair needs in a clear and professional manner.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified automotive mechanic.
  • ASE Certifications (G1, A1-A8, L1) are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with various diagnostic software and hardware.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology is preferred.
