Key Responsibilities:

Perform complex diagnostic procedures on all types of vehicles, with a strong focus on electric and hybrid models. Identify and repair faults in engine, transmission, electrical, braking, and climate control systems. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and scan tools to pinpoint issues. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information accurately. Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Perform electrical system repairs, including wiring harnesses, sensors, and control modules. Diagnose and repair issues related to EV battery packs, charging systems, and electric motors. Conduct pre-delivery inspections and road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior automotive technicians. Document all work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used. Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic techniques, and manufacturer updates. Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair recommendations and findings.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Automotive Technician, with a strong background in diagnostics. Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid systems. ASE certifications (A1-A8, L1, L2, L3) or equivalent are highly desirable. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic software and hardware, including EV-specific tools. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, including high-voltage components. Ability to read and interpret complex technical diagrams and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced workshop. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Experience with dealership-level or independent specialized repair shops.
